In reference to your letter of the 16th.

instant addressed to the Director of Public Works, on the subject of the charge against you as an Overseer in the Public

Works Department, I ari directed to inform you that you have

failed to exculpate yourself to the satisfaction of the Officer

Administering the Government and that accordingly the question of your suspension will be brought before a pommittee of the Executive Council in the Council Chamber on Friday next the 26th

instant at 3 p.m.

You will be allowed to appear before the Committee for the purpose of defending yourself orally.
